Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Boulder, CO is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support K-12 students with behavioral and developmental needs. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with school teams to help students make progress.

Candidates with active RBT certification or willingness to obtain it, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and experience with children or special needs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students.
• Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors.
• Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
