Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement ABA-based intervention plans and collaborate with families to support progress.

This part-time role offers weekday evenings, a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities for educational and training advancement, including potential BCBA pathways

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification is a plus if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children and autism.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Acts as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
