Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment—including stationary units, mobile machines, C-arms and fluoroscopy—to provide physicians with diagnostic images. The caregiver will work nights with on-call coverage, delivering patient-centered care in a Magnet Hospital environment and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of general Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and notify management/PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and process billing.
