Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking Radiology Technologists to perform general radiology exams, portable imaging, and fluoroscopic procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation. You will operate X-ray equipment, ensure patient safety, and support PACS workflows.

Shifts are evenings, with on-call requirements and flexible 10- or 12-hour shifts; sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
