Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and contribute to a calm, healing environment for patients. The role covers general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic exams, with opportunities for Imaging School or advanced MRI/Cat Scan/Ultrasound programs.

Hours are days, 8:00am–4:30pm or 2:00pm–10:30pm, with the potential for growth within Cleveland Clinic’s renowned imaging services and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
