Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Indiana is seeking a part-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications and provide direct resident care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and individualized care plans.

You will observe residents, document changes, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the wellbeing and independence of residents in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state-approved medication aide/certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and distribute medications per care plan.
• Observe and report condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Document observations, interventions, and daily MAR entries.
• Pass information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation.
• Record vitals, monitor safety, and assist with daily living activities.
