Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a part-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in Mishawaka, Indiana. You will administer medications, document care, and support daily living activities for residents under the direction of Nursing leadership.

The role requires a state-approved medication aide certification, insulin and CPR/BLS credentials, and basic MS Office skills. Join a team focused on resident safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution per plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Document observations and medication administration in the MAR.
• Pass information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation.
• Administer medications following the five rights and monitor vitals.
