Wittenberg Village, a Lutheran Life Communities community in Crown Point, Indiana, is hiring a Part-time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our caring team. You will prepare and administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist residents with daily living activities, and communicate changes to the nursing staff.

The role requires Indiana QMA certification (with CNA in good standing), insulin administration and CPR certifications, plus a background check.

Qualifications

• QMA certification (Indiana Aide Registry) and CNA certification in good standing.
• Insulin administration certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and administer oral, topical, eye, and ear medications as directed by the resident's plan.
• Check and record vital signs and blood sugar readings.
• Support residents with daily living needs (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Watch for changes in resident condition and report to the nurse promptly.
• Maintain accurate MAR records.
• Communicate with the nursing team about resident needs.
• Keep the care environment safe, clean, and organized.
