Job summary

Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Public Safety Ambassador to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment during events. This part-time role focuses on visible patrols, enforcing venue rules, and assisting guests with questions and directions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in security, military or law enforcement.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect issues.
• Enforce venue rules and protect guests and staff.
• Assist guests with questions and directions in a courteous manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with security teams.
• Complete incident and activity reports as required.
• Support crowd control and orderly event operations.
• Communicate clearly with Security Command and Event Management.
