Job summary

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Ambassador in Birmingham, AL. You will respond to questions, provide information, and resolve guest requests with courteous and knowledgeable service.

You will greet guests, handle wayfinding, and convey event details while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related knowledge, experience, and skills in customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
• Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all guests.
• Respond to and resolve guest questions, complaints, and requests as necessary in a prompt, effective and courteous manner.
• Be knowledgeable regarding facility events (location, ticket pricing, dates/times, parking, etc.).
• Answer questions in a clear, well-modulated voice.
• Maintain current knowledge of the BJCC procedures and guest-relations information including safety and general facility information.
• Professionally resolve guest concerns and/or direct to Guest Experience Manager.
• Demonstrate understanding of delivering an exceptional guest experience and responsiveness to guests.
• Maintain a clean space and ensure facility/venue cleanliness.
• Interact with a wide variety of demographics with tact and professionalism.
