Job summary

Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is seeking an Event Coordinator to support event managers with planning and execution of events at Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena and BJCC venues. You will help coordinate client needs, manage schedules, and ensure a superior guest experience.

The role requires at least one year in hospitality, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a valid Alabama driver’s license. Flexibility for extended hours, weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related knowledge, experience, and skills in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in hospitality management, business management, public administration or a related field is preferred.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Assist Event Managers with planning, coordinating and executing events.
• Coordinate events for Protective Stadium, BJCC Conventions, Legacy Arena and other BJCC venues.
• Provide front of house support during events to ensure guest experience.
• Interact with clients, partners, and teammates and maintain rapport.
