Job summary

BJCC in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Event Coordinator to assist Event Managers with planning, coordinating, and executing events across Protective Stadium, BJCC Conventions, Legacy Arena, and other venues. You will help ensure exceptional client and guest experiences and may provide front-of-house support as needed.

The role requires 1+ year in hospitality, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a valid Alabama driver license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related knowledge, experience, and skills in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business management, public administration or related field preferred.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Assist Event Managers with planning and execution of events.
• Coordinate pre-event planning meetings with clients and operating departments.
• Prepare and review event work orders and post-event meetings with clients.
• Provide front-of-house support during events to ensure guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with BJCC policies and safety requirements.
