Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a part-time Public Safety Ambassador to maintain a safe environment for performers, staff, and guests. You will patrol the venue, enforce rules, check credentials, respond to emergencies, and assist with crowd control.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and prior security or law enforcement experience.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in security, military, or law enforcement.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Alabama driver license.

Responsabilités

• Patrol assigned areas visibly to deter incidents.
• Assist guests with questions in a courteous manner.
• Enforce venue rules and security procedures.
• Respond to accidents and medical emergencies.
• Prepare incident and daily activity reports.
• Coordinate with Security Command and Event Management.
• Ensure restricted areas are secure and entry is controlled.
• Operate radios and communicate clearly during shifts.
