Job summary

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is seeking a Guest Service Ambassador for part-time work in Birmingham, AL. This role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences, answering questions, providing directions, and resolving issues to ensure smooth venue operations and memorable events.

The ambassador will greet guests, share event information, maintain knowledge of procedures, and assist with general inquiries while upholding BJCC standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related knowledge, experience, and skills in customer service, working with the public, or similar position preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
• Answer questions in a clear, well-modulated voice and maintain courteous interactions.
• Resolve guest concerns and/or direct to Guest Experience Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of facility events, pricing, hours, and directions.
• Maintain facility/venue cleanliness and assist with incident reporting when needed.
