Job summary

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) seeks a Guest Service Ambassador to ensure a positive guest experience across its venues. You will respond to questions, resolve issues, and provide courteous, knowledgeable customer service while promoting the BJCC’s offerings and safety protocols.

This part-time role requires flexibility to work varied hours, including event days, with a strong emphasis on communication and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year related knowledge, experience, and skills in customer service or similar positions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.

• Be knowledgeable regarding facility events, ticket pricing, dates/times, and parking.
• Professionally resolve guest concerns and/or direct to Guest Experience Manager.
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean space and ensure facility/venue cleanliness.
• Interact with guests in a tactful and professional manner under varying conditions.
• Support the team and adapt to scheduling demands for events.
