Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Part-time Service Technician for Union on Knox in College Park, MD. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units, ensuring safety and quality standards across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal) required where applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent; related maintenance experience acceptable
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate golf cart on property

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing issues per policy and code requirements
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and material ordering
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and return unused items to the correct location
• Document work orders accurately and promptly for resident requests
• Assist with grounds upkeep, cleaning, and painting as needed
• Assist in safety compliance through training and incident reporting
• Coordinate with contractors and supervisors to ensure quality and timely work
• Perform periodic property inspections and communicate concerns to management
