Job summary

Burnett Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator – Economic Mobility for a part-time role in the Greenway Plaza area of Houston. Approximately 25 hours per week with flexibility based on meetings, events and project needs.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in project coordination or nonprofit administration, strong communication, and proficiency in creating professional materials and presentations. In-person interviews are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project coordination, program support, nonprofit administration, or civic engagement.
• Strong written communication with experience creating meeting agendas, minutes, executive summaries, and professional correspondence.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to create polished presentations, reports, and handouts (templates, slide decks, printed handouts).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups, community partners, and organizational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and scheduling for committee meetings, working sessions, workshops, and events.
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, notes, and action item tracking.
• Manage communications and scheduling across multiple stakeholder groups and partner organizations.
