Project Coordinator – Economic Mobility (Part Time)
Location: Greenway Plaza area (Houston)
Parking: Free/covered
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week with flexibility based on meetings, events, and project needs

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Meeting & Project Coordination
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for committee meetings, working sessions, workshops, and events
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, notes, and action item tracking
- Manage communications and scheduling across multiple stakeholder groups and partner organizations
- Communications & Presentation Materials
- Develop and maintain professional presentations, handouts, reports, and meeting materials
- Support website updates, newsletters, and social media content
- Ensure consistency in branding and communication materials (templates, slide decks, printed handouts)
- Documentation & Administrative Support
- Maintain organized project files, records, and collaboration platforms
- Track milestones, deliverables, committee activities, and key decisions
- Prepare onboarding materials and documentation for new stakeholders and partners
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain stakeholder databases and distribution lists
- Draft communications and provide follow-up support for partners and committee members
- Assist with relationship management and ongoing stakeholder outreach
- Event Coordination
- Support planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and community events
- Manage invitations, RSVPs, attendance tracking, and event logistics
- Provide day-of event support, including coordination, note‑taking, and attendee management
- Grant & Funding Support
- Assist with grant proposal coordination and supporting documentation
- Conduct research for funding opportunities and project initiatives
- Track funding submissions, reporting deadlines, and fundraising activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, program support, nonprofit administration, civic engagement, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills with experience creating: Meeting agendas Meeting minutes Executive summaries Professional correspondence
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including: Word PowerPoint Excel
- Ability to create polished presentations, reports, and handouts (templates, slide decks, printed handouts)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups, community partners, and organizational leaders
