Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education/Social Work or related field preferred, not required.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field AND two years of direct experience with children under 13.
• School Age Child Care Credential or other Office-recognized credential specific to school-age development with two years of direct experience.
• Three years of experience in youth development programs providing educational enrichment for elementary/middle school-age youth.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate, supervise, and manage daily operations of staff.
• Develop and manage program relations with schools and partners.
• Oversee program budget and fundraising efforts as needed.
• Market the program to East Harlem communities and schools.
• Produce program reports and participate in leadership meetings.
• Lead meetings with staff, parents, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with ExpandED Schools obligations and reporting.
