The role involves coordinating monthly calendars, engaging volunteers, coordinating donations, and serving as a friendly first contact at the community center. Part-time hours are 12-5pm, 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 3-4 days per week; Hours are 12-5pm (Mon-Fri).
• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or seniors.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Strong organizational, computer and administrative skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Must have home computer, email access, and light printing ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming atmosphere and serve as initial contact at the community center.
• Prepare reports from calendars, sign‑in sheets, and activity hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute on-site.
• Oversee programs, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, engage partners.
• Log communications with volunteers and donations; submit monthly log.
• Share information about local resources with residents.
• Encourage resident participation and communicate needs to staff.
• Monitor and interact with residents of all ages.
• Maintain organization of PRS binders and documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
