Job summary

Loudoun County Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS) is hiring part-time Preschool Aide positions to support preschoolers with care, communication with families, and safety in activities at Ashburn and Sterling centers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of experience with children, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. CDA certification is preferred. Pre-employment checks and TB test are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months programmatic experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Monitors children's behavior, communication, and engagement; follows staff-to-student ratios and policies.
• Teaches, supervises, and encourages preschool children.
• Assists, inspires, and interacts with children during classroom activities.
• Communicates with parents, staff, and school personnel at the site.
