Job summary

Kahala Market by Foodland is seeking part-time prep cooks to join our culinary team on Oahu. The position requires high energy, creative cooking, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver quality meals to guests.

Candidates should have knife skills, knowledge of kitchen equipment, and the ability to follow recipes and procedures while maintaining a neat and professional appearance in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• High school education preferred or equivalent.
• Knife skills and basic cooking techniques required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• TB clearance required or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Must follow recipes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing raw ingredients for use during kitchen service.
• Observe and enforce company standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Assisting with utility and cooking duties as necessary.
