Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a part-time PMHNP/Psych PA-C to provide clinical care for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings in Montgomery, AL. The role supports clinicians with strong organizational backing and flexible scheduling, including remote documentation and onsite patient care.

The position emphasizes autonomous clinical practice, collaboration with care teams, and a biweekly pay model with comprehensive onboarding and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AL state license as PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C is required.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain is required.
• Minimum 6 months of PMHNP/Psych PA experience.
• Experience with older adults or post‑acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Onsite patient care with remote documentation; part-time schedule.
