Job summary

TeamHealth, a clinician-led organization, seeks a PMHNP-C or Psychiatric PA-C in North Carolina to deliver high-quality behavioral health care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with no nights or weekends, offering clinical autonomy, strong organizational support, and onsite work with remote documentation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience with older adults or post‑acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
