Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified PMHNP or Psych PA-C to join a clinician-led, nationwide organization serving post-acute and long-term care settings. The role offers clinical autonomy, a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, no nights or weekends), and remote documentation support.

Qualifications

• Licensure in Tennessee for PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• DEA license active or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 6 months experience as PMHNP or Psych PA.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
