TeamHealth is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Atlanta, GA to provide high-quality behavioral health care for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings. The role offers part-time scheduling (2 days per week) with on-site patient care and remote documentation, no nights or weekends, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Coverage includes Atlanta and surrounding Georgian communities.

Qualifikationen

• Active Georgia state license as PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months of experience as PMHNP or Psych PA.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
