Job summary

Eventide Fargo is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN Charge Nurse on the PM shift (4:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.) with a set every-other-weekend schedule. The role includes leadership responsibilities, medication administration, and care-plan oversight at the Fargo Care Center.

The ideal candidate will hold an active ND RN license, have LTC experience, and demonstrate strong documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an active ND RN License or obtain upon hire.
• Long Term Care experience preferred but not required.
• Assesses residents' health status through assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care according to policies and standards.
• Ensures accurate documentation in residents' records.
• Provides leadership to subordinate staff and ensures duties are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans with interdisciplinary input.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care per established policies and standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in residents' records.
• Leads and supports staff, including scheduling and coverage planning.
• Communicates resident needs to care staff and physicians.
• Participates in ongoing education and orientation of new team members.
