Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Jacksonville, FL is seeking part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support. Shifts are 4 to 6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, with flexibility for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

You will screen donors, record vital signs, greet donors, and maintain donor charts using our information system. The role emphasizes reliability, customer service, and contributing to safe, high-quality plasma collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs regularly; up to 32 lbs occasionally; rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and returning donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and coordinate donor charts and compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
