BioLife Plasma Services in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist to screen donors and perform plasmapheresis procedures. You will ensure high‑quality donor care and operate plasma collection equipment according to procedures.

The role requires standing for shifts, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and adherence to safety protocols including glove use. Join a mission-driven team supporting patient care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs; occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure (risk level 1).
• 1+ years in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Mansioni

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Assist with setup, verification, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the DIS.
