Job summary

BioLife in Tampa, FL is seeking a truly part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy assistant to support center operations. You will perform donor screening, record vital signs, and manage donor charts while delivering compassionate, compliant service.

Shifts are 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, including weekends and holidays. You must be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and comfortable with glove use for bloodborne pathogen precautions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with bloodborne pathogen precautions (glove use).

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring safety and quality service.
• Screen new and returning donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the information system.
• Identify operational improvements and support center process changes.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays to support donors.
