Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. The role features 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, designed to fit your life, with pay at starting rate of $16.00 per hour.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform donor screening, phlebotomy, charting, and donor compensation coordination. Training is provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
