Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. rarely.
• Glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement center changes.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
