Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the United States offers a truly part-time role with shifts typically 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week. You will aid donors, perform screening and phlebotomy to support center operations, and report to the Plasma Center Manager.

You’ll contribute to customer service and safety, learn Donor Information System tasks, and participate in a paid training program. Expect weekend and holiday shifts with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Glove use due to potential bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ year in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and ensure safety of donors and team.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts and maintain records.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
