BioLife Plasma Services seeks a part-time phlebotomist to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves venipuncture and plasmapheresis support with a focus on customer service and safety. Training is provided for all duties.

Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, with evening/weekend availability expected. This is a paid training environment designed to help you start strong in a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
