Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join a dedicated donation team. Each shift will be 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with training provided to help you start strong.

You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor safety, operate plasmapheresis equipment, and maintain accurate records in the Donor Information System, contributing to high-quality plasma and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at entry/exit.
• Perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis machine programming.
• Monitor donors and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measures and enter into DIS.
