BioLife in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team. Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with paid training to help you start strong and fit your life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the shift and perform phlebotomy tasks.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
• Perform setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
