Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Pasco, WA to support plasmapheresis operations. The role emphasizes patient-focused donor care, safety, and accurate data entry in the DIS system.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with paid training and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff. You will work under the Plasma Center Manager, greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor the donation process, and ensure compliance with 5S and Kaizen processes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Manual dexterity and good vision.
• Comfort with glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measurements and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and handle compensation via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements using approved procedures.
