Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Tucson seeks a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform phlebotomy, and ensure donor safety during scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to stand, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided, with a focus on reliability and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift duration.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Glove wear is common due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ year in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and care.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vitals and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts.
• Maintain accurate donor records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes and support changes.
