Job summary

BioLife is looking for a part-time plasma donor screener to support center operations in Tucson, AZ. You will perform phlebotomy, screen donors, and ensure safety while delivering friendly, patient-focused service.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour with paid, interactive training and a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll work with a supportive team at a fast-paced center, using the Donor Information System to maintain accurate records and donor compensation,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes using approved procedures.
• Support donors across varying shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
