Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Lakewood, CA is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy role to support center operations. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, record vital signs, and coordinate donor compensation with accuracy and care.

The position emphasizes outstanding customer service, reliability, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, with paid training and shifts of 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
• Glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donors while ensuring safety
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
