Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomist at our Houston North center. You will join a team that values reliability and patient care, with shifts typically 4 to 6 hours, 3 or more days per week.

You will screen donors, take vital signs, collect plasma, and maintain accurate records in our Donor Information System, while embracing a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work.
• Ability to bend, lean, stoop, and reach.
• Lifting up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Good depth perception and hearing in a clinical setting.
• 1+ year of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vitals and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
