Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the shift duration.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure (risk level 1).
• 1+ year of customer/patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while prioritizing safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts/records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements using approved procedures.
• Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays to support donor schedule.
