Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Gainesville, FL, is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with a paid training program to start strong.

You will contribute to donor safety and high-quality plasma collection in a role designed for flexible life balance. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays, screen donors, record vital signs, use our Donor Information System, and assist with donor compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32–50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes and implement changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
