Job summary

BioLife invites you to join our plasma donation center team in Gainesville, FL as a part-time donor screener with phlebotomy support. You’ll welcome donors, perform screenings, and help operate the center with a commitment to safety and quality.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager, participate in a paid interactive training program, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to meet donor needs and center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Able to lift 5 lbs. and occasionally up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts/records.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
