Job summary

BioLife in Tampa, FL is hiring for a truly part-time Plasma Donor Screener. You will greet donors, perform phlebotomy support, screen donors, and maintain donor charts while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk or stand for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays work requirement.
• Bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders/knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs regularly; occasional 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor, depth perception, and hearing equipment from distance.
• 90% tasks require glove wear due to exposure risk.
• 1+ year experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts and records, coordinate compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate approved process changes.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
