Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Tallahassee is hiring for a truly part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours a day, 3+ days per week, designed to fit busy lives with paid training.

You will greet donors, perform vital signs and finger sticks, use the Donor Information System, and help maintain accuracy and safety. This role values reliability, teamwork, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1) requiring glove use
• Minimum 1 year in customer or patient-facing role (helpful)

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify operational improvements
• Support donors across shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
