Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is hiring for a part-time Phlebotomist. The role involves welcoming donors, performing venipuncture, and operating plasmapheresis equipment to support plasma collection.

You will monitor donors, record vital measures, and enter data into the donor information system. The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a supportive team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering/exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors and manage reactions during donation.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measures and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donor flow and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center improvements using 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream mapping.
