Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waco, TX is seeking a dedicated part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support to join our center operations. This role offers a flexible schedule with most shifts 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, and a paid interactive training program to get you started.

You will screen donors, record vital signs, use the Donor Information System, and help maintain safe, efficient center processes while delivering customer‑focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk or stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders.
• Lift to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years of customer/patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes and implement changes.
