Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener who will perform phlebotomy to support center operations and interact with donors with a focus on safety and customer service. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to a smooth, compliant center workflow.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Training is paid and designed to help you start strong in a flexible role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Support donors by working a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
