BioLife, in partnership with Takeda, is offering part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy roles in the Harwood Heights, IL area. Donors are essential to creating life-changing medicines, and you will be essential to plasma center operations.

We offer paid, interactive training and a schedule designed to fit your life, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Donor reliability and customer service are highly valued in this role.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays working.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use.
• 1+ years in customer/patient-facing role helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the Donor Information System.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
